This was a very interesting talk with lots of information on how young people (teenagers, people in their 20s) use blogs. I wonder if blogging will be one of the icons of this generation, like rock and roll and juvenile delinquency were in the 50s, drugs and protests in the 60, punk and disco in the 70s, etc.
Perhaps the moral of the story is that if you want your social networking platform to be a hit, you have to avoid putting constraints on how people use it. I posted on this part of the conference here.

Great presentation. You mentioned the lack of email usage among this group. What is the impact of MySpace, Friendster, etc. on IM?
