ICWSM-11 Student Grant Program
ICWSM and AAAI are pleased to announce the availability of a small fund to help support student travel to ICWSM-11 in Barcelona, Spain. ICWSM-11 student grants provide modest travel support for students who are full-time undergraduate or graduate students at colleges and universities; are members of AAAI; have an accepted paper to the conference program or are participating in another way (workshops, demos); and submit scholarship applications to AAAI by May 13, 2011. In the event that scholarship applications exceed available funds, preference will be given to students who have an accepted technical paper, and then to students who are actively participating in the conference in some way
As part of the requirements for accepting a grant, students may be asked to assist ICWSM organizers onsite in Barcelona for a few hours, July 16 - 21. A limited number of complimentary technical program registrations will be available for students who are asked to volunteer during the conference.

ICWSM-11 / Google Eastern European Travel Grant Program
In partnership with Google, ICWSM is pleased to announce a limited number of travel grants worth 500 EURO to academics and research students from Eastern Europe to present papers at the conference. To apply, please send an email to icwsm11@aaai.org by May 13, 2011, including the title and co-authors of your accepted paper(s) and a short resume. Recipients will be notified by June 1, 2011.
The travel grant awards will reimburse actual expenses incurred. Details will be sent to those who receive awards.Eligible countries include Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Republic of Macedonia, Russian Federation, Ukraine.
